We’ve turned on our 1.8 kw solar array, which is grid-tied. This means we are collecting energy, and giving it back—another way for us to mitigate the damage done by our culture over the last 60+ years we have been on the planet. We hope to eventually offer some of our farmland to others, through “community net metering,” who want to erect a solar array but don’t have a good location.
